For Immediate Release January 29, 2010 Contact Information Sonshine Communications (BPRW) NFL PROVIDES FANS FREE SNEAK PEAK AT PRO BOWL SATURDAY AT LOCKHART STADIUM NFC and AFC Team Practices Open to the Public Team USA vs. The World Junior Game at Noon (BLACK PR WIRE) ( January 29, 2010) The Pro Bowl may be sold out, but football fans will have the opportunity to get a free sneak peak Saturday of the AFC and NFC teams at the NFL’s Open Practice at Lockhart Stadium presented by Pepsi in Ft. Lauderdale.
All 86 Pro Bowl players will be in attendance for the free day of football, family and fun. The day begins at 9 a.m. with the NFC team practice, followed by the AFC squad at 10 a.m. Fans will receive a truly unique behind-the-scenes look at the final AFC and NFC practices. The Pro Bowl cheerleaders and team mascots from around the league will perform throughout the day. Fans will also hear from players as NFL Network broadcasters interview the stars. In addition, fans will get a glimpse of the future of the football. At noon, “Team USA vs. The World” will feature the United States 2010 Junior National Team composed of high school seniors will play against a team featuring the best players aged 19 and under from outside the U.S., spanning eight countries on four continents. The game is presented by USA Football, the sport's national governing body on youth and amateur levels. USA Football's Junior National Team is led by head coach Chris Merritt of Miami Christopher Columbus High School. Among the stars in the game are: Quinton Dunbar of Miami’s Booker T. Washington HS, who will attend Florida next season; LSU bound Jakhari Gore from Miami Columbus and the cousin of 49ers Pro Bowl player Frank Gore and Travis Williams from Norfolk, Virginia, who will attend the University of Miami.
