What: Power Awards Concert and Red Carpet Event to honor national and local leaders from across the country for raising the bar in promoting stroke awareness to African-Americans. Why: African Americans have almost twice the risk of stroke compared to Caucasians. Blacks 34 to 54 years old have four times the relative risk for stroke.
