(BPRW) UnitedHealthcare, Gantt Center Host Tribute Honoring Martin Luther King Jr.’s Life and Legacy

(BLACK PR WIRE)--CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--As part of the Black Classic Cinema Series, UnitedHealthcare and the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture will celebrate the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. federal holiday with a special event Saturday, Jan. 14.
The event will begin with a performance by Blacks in Wax, an innovative educational youth group dedicated to African-American history and culture, at 1 p.m., followed by a Medicare education seminar by UnitedHealthcare.
In addition, a video of the recent dedication of the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial in Washington, D.C., will be presented, and a screening of “Anna Lucasta,” the Black Classic Cinema Series January selection, starring Eartha Kitt and Sammy Davis Jr., will round out the day’s events.
