(BPRW) MIAMI DADE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE HOST THE 2015 SYMPOSIUM AND BUSINESS LEADERS LUNCHEON, THE BLACK ECONOMY AND THE SOCIAL ENGINEERING IMPACT ON THE BLACK COMMUNITY

(Black PR Wire) The Miami Dade Chamber of Commerce will host the 2015 Symposium and Business Leaders Luncheon Friday, March 13, 2015, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, located at 400 S.E. 2nd Ave, Miami Florida, 33131. Registration for The Symposium will begin at 8:00 AM, and will take place between 9:00 AM-11:30 AM. The focus of the two workshops will be the Black Economy as defined by the Miami Dade Chamber of Commerce, and The Social Engineering Impact on the Black Community, moderated by Barron Channer, Founder and CEO of BACH Real Estate (“BACH”), and T. Willard Fair, President of the Urban League, of Greater Miami, Inc.

R. Donahue Pebbles Chairman and CEO of the Peebles Corporation will deliver the key note address during the luncheon, Calvin Hughes of ABC affiliate WPLG Local 10, will serve as Master of Ceremonies. Each year the Chamber recognizes individuals, and corporations who have exemplified their commitment to the South Florida community and to the Chamber. The categories include the Corporate Member of the Year, The Non-Profit Organization of the Year, The Dexter Foster Small Business Organization of the Year, The Rising Star of the Year, and the Board Member of the Year. The winners will be announced during the Luncheon.

“The symposium is the kick-off of a deep dive into the economy of the Black business community, across Miami-Dade County. As I look at the One Community One Goal, my question is how does the Black business community fit in, are we players in the overall push in One Community One Goal?” said G. Eric Knowles, President and CEO of the Miami Dade Chamber of Commerce. “After the symposium the Chamber will engage the Black business community through a series of community meetings to begin evaluating the capacity and its economic impact. In addition assessing who’s taking the money out of the black community.” said G. Eric Knowles, President of the Miami Dade Chamber of Commerce.
