(BPRW) Miramar Cultural Center presents Smokie Norful Holiday Concert

(Black PR Wire) Miramar, FL– Holiday concert to be held at the Miramar Cultural Center on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 8pm, will feature gospel singer and pianist Reverend W.R. “Smokie” Norful, Jr. best known for his 2002 album, I Need You Now and his 2004 release, Nothing Without You, which won a Grammy at the 47th Annual Grammy Awards for Best Contemporary Soul Gospel Album in 2004. Norful received his second Grammy this year at the 57th Annual Grammy awards for his song No Greater Love, ten years after winning his first.

Providing a stage for contemporary Gospel music with artists such as Reverend W. R. “Smokie” Norful demonstrates Miramar Cultural Center’s commitment to all genres of music, but also to their local community where Gospel music is strongly embraced. Stephen Kantrowitz, Interim-Director of Cultural Affairs for the City of Miramar shares, "We are very proud to host a Holiday Concert, featuring Smokie Norful this holiday season, one of the highlight signature performances presented in South Florida this year.”
