FPL President and CEO Eric Silagy Updates Customers and Media on Company’s Growing Restoration Workforce and Statewide Staging Sites

(Black PR Wire) WHAT: Florida Power & Light Company’s (FPL) Command Center is the company’s emergency response headquarters – a central location to implement the company’s coordinated effort to respond safely, efficiently and quickly to restore power for customers. 

 FPL President and CEO Eric Silagy will discuss the company’s preparations, which include mobilizing a restoration workforce of more than 11,000 and the opening of more than 20 staging sites to pre-position crews and equipment in the areas anticipated to be hardest hit, so they are ready to respond safely and as quickly as possible.
