(BLACK PR WIRE) – LOS ANGELES, CA (May 5, 2014) – Actress Tammi Mac launched her first one-woman show, Bag Lady, to sold-out audiences at Stage 52 Playhouse on Saturday, May 3. Written by and starring Mac, Bag Lady exposes the baggage of a woman weighed down heavily by her choices in men. We witness the Bag Lady accumulate a bag full of issues that include, the drug game, baby mama drama, a groupie lifestyle and attempted murder.

“I DIDN’T CARE THAT JEROME HAD OTHER WOMEN!” is one of many proclamations bellowed by Mac as the Bag Lady. She even recalls a life-changing encounter with a popular hip-hop group in the nineties. Presented in a series of vignettes, Mac takes the audience on her emotional journey through dysfunctional relationships based on personal experiences as well as those of friends. She adds, “Every woman faces heartbreak from a relationship. Not every woman faces the heartbreak she brings on herself.
