(Black PR Wire) The Angel City (CA) Chapter, Beverly Hills West (CA) Chapter, Central Coast-Riviera (CA) Chapter, Channel Islands (CA) Chapter, Harbor Area (CA) Chapter, Inglewood Pacific (CA) Chapter, Los Angeles, (CA) Chapter, Orange County (CA) Chapter, and San Fernando Valley (CA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated will hold its Black Family Wellness Expo on Saturday, March 21, 2026 in an effort to reduce health and economic disparities and to save and improve lives in the Black community. This effort in Los Angeles County is aimed at addressing multiple health disparities that negatively impact the health and quality of life for many in this community. The local event is a part of The Links, Incorporated’s nationwide Black Family Wellness Expos being held across the country on March 21, 2026, which aims to leverage its entire membership in the effort to improve outcomes for Black families. The Expo is free and open to everyone in the community regardless of race, color or national origin.
Nine Southern California Chapters’ Black Family Wellness Expo contributes to The Links National Wellness Expos effort to raise awareness about conditions that shorten or impact the quality of life for those in the Black community. The entire Black family is included, from infants to senior citizens. Topics addressed at the Black Family Wellness Expo will include maternal health; women’s and men’s health; family wellness; yoga and wellness activities; healthy nutrition education and healthy snacks; heart health; kidney disease; blood pressure screenings; dental health; blood donor awareness and sign-up; mental health awareness and resources; aging; Alzheimer’s disease; dementia; voter registration and information; and more.
