(Black PR Wire) BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA — Television host, singer, actress, reality personality and former television contestant Michelle Wallace is asking media organizations, entertainment professionals and the public to hear her story as she works to rebuild her career and provide stability for her family. 

Wallace, who is from Birmingham, Alabama, says she has experienced significant personal and financial hardship, including homelessness, loss of employment and transportation, while also attempting to pursue opportunities in television, film, hosting and entertainment. 

According to Wallace, her television career began with an appearance as a contestant on an NBC-network program in 2008.  She says that after her elimination, she was invited back approximately three months later to co-host the program for one week in Hollywood under contract, with expenses covered, and later became an All-Star. 

Wallace says that during her entertainment career she has appeared on or worked with productions and networks including NBC, ABC and other entertainment platforms. She also identifies appearances and work connected to The Dr. Oz Show, Meet the Browns, Pop the Balloon, Industry Girlz, major motion pictures and projects directed by Roger Bobb.

A Story of Loss and Resilience 

Wallace says that over the years she and her children have experienced a series of serious hardships, including homelessness, loss of personal belongings, family tragedies and incidents that she describes as kidnapping, threats and harassment. 

She states that she contacted law enforcement and media organizations regarding what she describes as threats and ransom calls. Wallace says that on January 8 and 9, 2026, she received verbal ransom demands and threats and contacted law enforcement. She says authorities were eventually able to record some of the voices associated with the calls. 

Wallace also alleges that she repeatedly sought assistance from media organizations regarding her safety and career but did not receive the representation or support she believed she needed. 

She further says she has experienced what she believes was racial discrimination in attempts to obtain media coverage and professional assistance. These statements represent Wallace's account and allegations. 

Loss of Employment and Housing Instability 

Wallace says her truck caught fire on June 6, 2026, resulting in the loss of her transportation and employment. She says she subsequently went without pay for seven weeks and is currently without stable housing. 

She describes sleeping in shelters, cars and on the street while trying to care for her children and assist members of her family. 

Despite these circumstances, Wallace says she remains determined to continue working in entertainment and to create new opportunities for herself and her family.

Wallace is currently seeking professional opportunities in television, film and live entertainment, including:

- Red-carpet hosting and interviewing

- Concert hosting

- Emcee and event-hosting opportunities

- Reality television

- Documentary projects about her life

- Acting and film opportunities

- Television and media appearances

- Freelance entertainment work

Wallace says one of her goals is to develop a reality show and documentary that tell the story of her life, career and journey through adversity. 

A Call for Media Coverage 

Wallace is asking journalists, producers, entertainment executives, television networks, filmmakers, talent representatives and members of the public to consider her story and help connect her with legitimate professional opportunities. 

She describes herself as an international and national television personality, host, singer, actress and reality star and says she wants the opportunity to return to work, rebuild her career and provide for her family.

 “I am asking the nation to hear my story and give me an opportunity to work,” Wallace says in her personal statement. “I want to rebuild my career, help my family and continue doing what I love.” 

Wallace says she is also seeking support through fundraising efforts she has established while working to regain stable housing, transportation and employment.
