(BPRW) Black PR Wire's March Power Profiler: Brandice Daniel

(Black PR Wire) Brandice Daniel, a Memphis native now based in New York City, is the visionary founder behind Harlem’s Fashion Row (HFR). Established in 2007, well before the mainstream embrace of inclusivity, HFR stands as a beacon for multicultural designers. Under Brandice's stewardship, HFR has orchestrated groundbreaking events, garnering partnerships with leading brands like Target, Marriott International, Verizon, Google, and LVMH. These collaborations have provided a platform for designers of color to showcase their work, breaking barriers and reshaping the landscape of fashion.

Brandice holds a bachelor’s of science in fashion merchandising from the University of Tennessee and another in international trade and marketing from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Her first job in fashion outside of working in retail was as an allocation analyst for a company named Catherine’s.

After attending a fashion show, she was so inspired that she made it her mission to bring a similar experience to her neighborhood and provide a group of talented designers with the exposure and opportunities normally reserved for the tents of New York Fashion Week. Through her leadership, HFR has evolved into a premier platform, showcasing diverse talent and challenging industry norms.

In 2023, Brandice won the Impact Award of The Year at ESSENCE’s Best In Black Fashion Awards. When she’s not being an entrepreneur, speaker, and author, she’s a wife to Rich and mother to her beautiful little Sky Grace.
