(Black PR Wire) Over the past two weeks, FOX traveled to various hotspots to screen the new series “STAR” for local influencers and press. After kicking off in Atlanta with ATL Live on the Park, the tour continued to Washington, D.C. to sponsor the HavPlenty Brunch; then to Los Angeles for some Trap Karaoke; and to Houston for an exclusive screening at The Ensemble Theater.

In Washington, guests arrived at Acre 121 for the HavPlenty Brunch with bottomless mimosas awaiting them. DJ Fanci kept the energy high as guests dined on a lavish breakfast buffet. After the brunch, HavPlenty founder Lauren Grant introduced the episode which guests fully enjoyed, given the laughs and gasps throughout the screening. Once the episode ended, the day party kicked off with more music and more good times. Roland Martin (News One), Karen Huger (“Real Housewives of Potomac”/Bravo), Jasmine Jones (Miss DC USA), Wes Felton (Grammy-nominated recording artist), and Kendell Renee Kelly (“Money Power Respect”/WE tv) were all in attendance.

In Los Angeles, over 1,200 music fans gathered at Union Night Club to participate in the user-generated rap concert that’s been sweeping the nation, Trap Karaoke. Prior to the show, FOX screened the premiere episode for an exclusive group of influencers. FOX 11 news anchor Christine Devine introduced the episode and after the screening, media maven and event co-host Karen Civil encouraged people to join the Trap Karaoke fun in the main room. Attendees included “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” cast Masika Kalysha, Moniece Slaughter, Nia Riley, Miles Brock and Jason Lee; “Basketball Wives LA” personality Sundy Carter; tv legend Marla Gibbs; recording artist Major; Torrei Hart (actress/comedian); actor Vincent Ward (“The Walking Dead”); Ray Cunningham (WE tv Digital Host); Wendell James (“Raising Whitley”) and more.

In Houston, some of the most buzzed about social media sensations arrived at The Ensemble Theatre to enjoy the special preview of “Star.” Guests in attendance included Jonathan Martin (Fox 26 Houston), Irvin Randle (Instagram Sensation #MrStealYourGrandma), KWAY aka TiTi (Social Media Sensation), J-Mac (97.9 The Box), KG Smooth (Majic 102.1), Lo (The Bad Girls Club), Marcus Ecby (Yolanda Adams Morning Show Producer), Dr. Ashandra Batiste and her husband Richard Cumby (“Married to Medicine Houston”), The Walls Group (Stellar Award-Winning Gospel Group), Darian Ward (Press Secretary to Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner), Bishop Becca, Chloe Montgomery (Little Miss Black & Natural), Christian Cargile (Miss Black & Natural), Margo Baines (Chicks with Class) and The Musicians’ Wives of Houston.

The evening began with red carpet photos and cocktails by Signature Sipz followed by the screening which was introduced by FOX 26 Houston anchor Jonathan Martin. After the preview, guests dined on passed hors d’oeuvres by Chef Javani King of Dolce Lounge.

The “Star” screening will continue on to Chicago, New York, Philadelphia and Miami in the coming weeks.
