(BPRW) Broward Black Chamber Hosts Black Business Expo

The Chamber Celebrated National Black Business Month by Showcasing Black Businesses

(Black PR Wire) Broward County, Fort Lauderdale, FL - To commemorate National Black Business Month this year, the Broward County Black Chamber hosted its inaugural Broward Black Business Expo on Tuesday, August 16th from 6-8 p.m. at 401 NW 7 Terrace, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311.

The Broward Black Business Expo featured businesses from over sixteen different industries and had over one hundred and sixty-five registrants for the event. Attendees were able to network to live piano music, learn about and support black businesses on the spot, and celebrate this special month together. The vendors included some of the following:

Cre8tive Software - App, website, and other complex solutions through tech

King Tours & Transportation - College tours and party bus rentals

FSB Agency - Bonding solution for businesses

Cruise Planners - Travel planners Arlington Insurance - business insurance

Gina Gendrey - New York Life representative

Pierre Law Group - Immigration and Personal Injury Law

Healing Arts Institute - Nonprofit providing free mental health help

One Market Real Estate - Real estate brokerage company

Lien Software - Makes finding liens on properties easy

Reed Group - Supply chain and logistics recruitment

The Expo was sponsored by Amazon, Comerica Bank, Broward County OESBD, and Spectrum Golf. The Expo had exhibitors that provided information of government contracting and upcoming opportunities from Broward Health, MAP Broward, Minority Builders Coalition, and Broward County Office of Small Business and Economic Development, and National Development Corporation, who was there to offer funding options for small business.

The Expo also featured an After Party, sponsored by Destination Sistrunk and the Broward Cultural Division, at Smitty’s on Sistrunk, where expo attendees enjoyed music from live bands and great local fare.  The Chamber plans to host this event annual so don't miss it next year.
