BPRW Highlights The LZ Granderson Show in recognition of Black Business Month

(Black PR Wire) Miami, FL – It’s National Black Business Month, and the team @BlackPRWire is delighted to showcase and highlight some incredible and exceptional Back business leaders who are making it happen in our communities nationwide.

Introducing Elzie Lee Granderson, an Emmy-winning journalist, commentator and the creator, producer and host of  “The LZ Granderson Show.” A show that aims to provide a more nuanced analysis of our current political climate.

Premiering on Juneteenth 2025, “The LZ Granderson Show” is a weekly video podcast that lives at the vibrant intersection of sports, culture, and politics. The show kicked off with a four-part series featuring candid conversations on Black creatives  with appearances from Ledisi, Big Sean, Roy Wood Jr., and Ben Watkins. The show’s launch was accompanied by  Granderson’s Juneteenth essay published in The “Los Angeles Times.”

Positioned for those “trying to survive 2025,” It’s especially for men who want to laugh or be informed but don’t feel comfortable in the Joe Rogan/Stephen A. Smith ecosystem. As he puts it: “Being informed is hard. Being uninformed is hard. Choose your hard wisely.”

The show delivers fresh episodes every Thursday on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts.

LZ Granderson worked at ESPN for 17 years, ABC News for 10 years, CNN for 5 years and was the first ring side reporter for DAZN. If anyone is comfortable talking about sports, culture and politics it’s this Emmy-winner from Detroit

Future episodes will include NBA legend Isiah Thomas, ESPN’s football analyst Mina Kimes, NYC Council Member Chi Ossé, “White Lotus” actor Murray Bartlett, and a timely three-part series asking elected officials and educators: “Is College Still Worth the Cost?” This fall, Granderson will also release “The Ballad of LZ Granderson,” a book of essays drawn from his reporting with “The Los Angeles Times” between 2020-2025, expanding on the themes of the podcast.

For those ready for a new kind of conversation, “The LZ Granderson Show” is ready for you.
